Housing
Bethlehem College and Seminary is located at the downtown campus of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For over 130 years, Bethlehem has been located in the Elliot Park Neighborhood. Elliot Park is a wonderful mixture of old and young, rich and poor—a multi-ethnic neighborhood on the edge of downtown Minneapolis. A few blocks away is the Phillips Neighborhood which is now reported to be the most ethnically-diverse neighborhood in the country with over 100 languages spoken. Bethlehem is delighted to have its downtown campus located next to these two neighborhoods and within an easy bike-ride to the University of Minnesota with its 60,000 plus student body including thousands of international students.
Our passion is to serve as a gospel witness to a great diversity of peoples. Because of our strategic location and our commitment to intentional Christian community, we highly encourage students to live near the downtown campus. At the same time we rejoice that our North Campus in Moundsview and our South Campus in Burnsville also are strategically located in communities that are seeing the nations come to their doorsteps as well. Students who sense God's leading to live near one of these campuses will also have significant opportunities to live out the gospel and partner with Bethlehem in seeking to be a light to the nations.
Bethlehem College does not have dormitories. Instead, most of our students live in residential housing owned by members and friends of Bethlehem Baptist Church. We will do everything possible to provide affordable and safe housing options for students but ultimately cannot guarantee housing for any student.
